Multitalent from a strong sportsfamily. His father Eystein won bronze both individual and relay in WOC 1974 in Silkeborg, and won the relay in 1978. His mother Wenche Hultgreen was also on the national team. Won the first edition of the Nordic Orienteering Tour overall in 2010. Strongest in Nordic terrain, but has also improved in continental terrain. Audun combined orienteering with cross-country skiing, orienteering having the highest priority. He placed in the top 40 (from almost 200) in Nor.champs skiing 2006. A true lover of a real long distance, and won his first WC-race on the long mass-start in O-ringen 2007. His sister Ingunn has been in the national team as well.
