Currently a professional orienteer and a sports instructor, previously studied sports sciences at Tartu University. Is not a stranger to map drawing or course setting. Won EYOC 2006 in M16 over the long distance and was top 10 at JWOC 2009 and 2010. Has steady continuing progress among the elite, best individual result being 6th in middle distance at WOC 2014. Best at middle distance, still struggling to make a breakthrough in long distance on an international level. Strong relay runner, also good on night legs at 10mila and Jukola. Rarely runs sprints.
